  JuMP Trainees

Trainees that emerge from JuMP are unique because of their broad exposure to all areas of musculoskeletal research as well as their their readily transferable skills in knowledge translation, communication, teamwork and project management.

The JuMP mentoring process integrates complementary researchers to advance the understanding of musculoskeletal health and address critical research questions, by combining methodologies and expertise.  JuMP trainees develop transdisciplinary expertise allowing them to be instrumental in the integration process and act as links between co-supervisors from different backgrounds.  All JuMP trainees have an advisory/mentoring committee, which includes mentors from the basic sciences, engineering and an appropriate clinical realm.
