Mentors

Our mentors have developed a world-class reputation in musculoskeletal health and in the training of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and clinician-scientists. The synergy among our researchers (including biologists, engineers, physicists, surgeons and clinician-scientists working together as a team) allows us to make significant breakthroughs in understanding the initiation, progression and treatment of joint disease and to train new researchers who embrace this transdisciplinary approach and accelerate the growth of integrative knowledge.

JuMP promotes collaborative team research by bringing researchers together from a wide range of disciplines together to co-supervise trainees. Each trainee is co-supervised by investigators from at least two themes, ensuring that every project is collaborative and transdisciplinary. JuMP trains investigators who work in a collaborative transdisciplinary manner and transfer this approach to their future work environment.
